Licensing and third-party material

Original software code, build scripts, automated tests, and software
configuration are covered by the MIT License in LICENSE. This includes
repository-authored LaTeX style code, but not the prose of the manuscripts.

Original papers, prose documentation, figures, authored model records, and
the Book where included are covered by CC BY 4.0 as stated in LICENSE-CONTENT.
Copies of companion papers by the same author retain that content license.
A package containing both software and authored content carries both
licenses, each applying to its respective material.

Third-party dependencies and material remain subject to their own licenses,
copyright notices, and attribution requirements. Citations identify sources;
they do not relicense the cited works. Bundled or installed dependencies,
including those identified by Cargo.lock and package-lock.json, are not
relicensed by these repository-level notices.
